Quote Mode
Category: Checkout · Tier: Pro tier (and Agency) · Marketing page →
What it does
Converts the checkout button into “Request a quote” for selected products, customer roles, or cart conditions. Submits a quote request without taking payment.
Why it matters
B2B and high-ticket stores need a quote workflow that doesn’t require installing a CRM plugin. Asteris ships it as a checkout-flow option.
Where to find it
In WordPress admin: ★ Asteris Cart → Modules → Quote Mode. The module is enabled by default on every fresh install of a Pro-or-higher licence — disable from the same page if you don”t want it.
Per-module settings live under that same page once enabled. Global module on/off lives at ★ Asteris Cart → Modules (the master switch grid).
Settings reference
Trigger rule (specific products / customer role / cart total threshold / always), quote form fields (configurable via Field Editor), notification email, admin quote management page, expiry (e.g. 7 days from request).
Tips
Pro tier required. The Quote Gateway registers very early in plugins_loaded so WooCommerce sees it as a real payment method — toggle Safe Mode if you ever need to disable it urgently.
