What it does

A streamlined buy flow that lets returning customers complete checkout in a single step. Includes per-zone kill switch so you can disable in regions where it’s not legal/supported.

Why it matters

For repeat customers with saved payment + address, the standard multi-field checkout is overkill. Express drops them to one screen and a confirm button.

Where to find it

In WordPress admin: ★ Asteris Cart → Modules → Express Checkout. The module is enabled by default on every fresh install of a Starter-or-higher licence — disable from the same page if you don”t want it.

Per-module settings live under that same page once enabled. Global module on/off lives at ★ Asteris Cart → Modules (the master switch grid).

Enable per shipping zone (multi-select with kill switches), button text, position (above checkout fields / replace checkout for express-eligible customers), eligibility rule (logged-in customers only / prior-purchase customers only / all).

Tips

Test the per-zone kill switch carefully if you ship to EU — some regions have stricter consent rules that the express flow needs to handle explicitly.
