Asteris Cart roadmap
Asteris Cart v1.0 has 22 cart and checkout modules built and is in end-to-end QA before public launch. After launch, v1.1 leads with Recovery and a Bot Filter, plus a sequence runner, exit-intent and a customer portal. v1.2 brings order bumps and post-purchase upsells; v1.3 adds address autocomplete and a WP-CLI suite; v1.4 adds A/B testing and an analytics dashboard. Dates are velocity-decided, not promised. A funnel canvas is under consideration for v2 and explicitly deferred.
This roadmap is the honest version: what has shipped, what is being built, and what is planned — with no fixed dates, because the launch is velocity-decided. A built-in-public Friday post tracks what actually ships each week.
Legend: ✓ shipped · ● building · ○ planned

- ● Public launch — founder window, then open launch (velocity-decided)
v1.1 — first post-launch release
- ○ Recovery + Bot Filter — abandoned-cart capture with IP fingerprinting, session validation and rate limiting. The flagship v1.1 wedge, because most recovery metrics are bot-poisoned.

- ○ A/B Testing — per-module variant testing with significance gates
- ○ Analytics Dashboard — unified revenue view, attribution surviving custom URLs
- ○ Cohort Reports — recovery survival curves, urgency effect on AOV, opt-in rates by region
v1.5+ — research-needed
- ○ AI Recovery Timing — honest-data-only, must beat a fixed-window baseline in real tests
- ○ SMS Recovery — Twilio and MessageBird paths, carrier compliance per market
- ○ Block Checkout Mode — full Asteris Cart UX on Block Checkout once WooCommerce core supports custom steps
- ○ Agentic Hooks — endpoints for AI assistants to manage cart and checkout config
v2+ — under consideration
- ○ Funnel Canvas — a visual funnel builder, the one feature CartFlows leads on today. Explicitly deferred until customer demand is documented.
- ○ Agency Plus tier — a white-label option, only if real demand surfaces
- ○ Multi-currency switcher — if WooCommerce core does not ship it first
